Immigration Service resumes affected residence cases

On 9 October 2026, the Danish Immigration Service resumed processing the permanent residence cases and certain family reunification cases that were suspended on 8 September because of an error in the Criminal Register. Following investigation and rectification, the National Police assesses that the consequences for the register are very limited. The affected cases can therefore be processed again.
