Ministry resumes suspended citizenship cases

On 9 October 2026, the Ministry of Immigration and Integration decided to resume processing the citizenship cases that were suspended following an error in the Criminal Register. After investigation and rectification, the National Police assesses that the consequences for the register are very limited. The Ministry has also asked the immigration authorities to resume other cases suspended on the same basis.
